Situated in a premier position, it is only yards from the promenade and sea front, and just a few minutes walk from the town centre.  The balcony affords wide sea views which can also be enjoyed from the living room and master bedroom.  The views also extend over the croquet green and cricket pitch to Muttersmoor beyond.  From the kitchen and second bedroom there are views over the rooftops towards the cliffs at Salcombe Regis.

The kitchen is contemporary and offers modern equipment and convenience including fridge-freezer, toaster, electric cooker (ceramic hob, double oven including fan), kettle, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We provide a good range of cooking utensils. There are also an iron and ironing board and one hairdryer.

Both bathrooms are fully tiled. The main bathroom (entry level) has been completely renewed this year (2019) replacing the shower over bath with a walk-in double headed power shower. The attic bedroom ensuite has an electric shower over the bath.

Refreshments on the balcony


A most special and attractive feature of the property is the balcony which is accessed by both the lounge and bedroom, and extends the whole frontage, getting the sun from about 10 o'clock until it sets. The views are fabulous, extending over the bay and also the cricket field, tennis court and croquet lawns. Our visitors have spent many a happy hour having a coffee or a glass of wine, whilst watching the world go by.

The previous owners refurbished the flat and we have continued to enhance the facilities and furninshings, earning us a Visit England Gold Award in 2018.

We make no extra charge for gas or electricity and all bed linen and towels are provided.  During a two week stay this is changed mid stay. There is gas central heating system, and constant hot water.


Guests have access to unlimited WiFi (BT Infinity 6 broadband). A password is provided with the pre-stay information.

The flat does not have its own parking but there is a privately owned car park opposite for which weekly tickets can be purchased (approximately £72 pw)) or weekly tickets are available for use in any of the municipal car parks at a cost of £25.

Changeover and exclusions

Our changeover day is Friday. Guests are requested to leave by 10am, and to arrive after 4pm to enable the apartment to be in a perfect condition for our new arrivals. Access to the flat on arrival is from 4pm. At times when here are no guests in the previous week (off-season) arrangemnets may be made for earlier arrival. Please contact us (07836 355654) for more information.

We do not accept responsibility for guests' personal belongings and strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance.

Whilst we are happy to accommodate children, please bear in mind that this is a second floor property and children must be supervised at all times when using the balcony.
